Excited for the new Wednesday Live Lesson. It’s an Egg Still Life with water mixable oil paints on Hot Press watercolor paper.

Ashley posted that his will be 10" x 15". Because my preference is to create artwork using industry standard frame sizes, I have decided to increase my size slightly to 11" x 17". Now it can be framed (without a matt) in a standard frame.

In case you are interested in doing the same, here is the 11 x 17 resized reference photo with and without the 1" grid.

One additional note about this Live Lesson. The set of 10 water mixable oil paints that Ashley is using include the following colors:

Lemon Yellow, Cadmium Yellow Hue, Permanent Alizarin Crimson,

Cadmium Red Hue, Cerulean Blue Hue, French Ultramarine,

Phthalo Green (Blue Shade), Yellow Ochre, Burnt Umber, Titanium White.

I hope this list helps if you already own individual tubes that were not purchased as a set. Happy painting everyone and please post your progress here for forum members to see.
