Much, much improved over the first drawing. Your lines are bolder and more sure, yet still loose and not “forced” showing a clear increase in confidence in your strokes. The perspective is spot on and I can nearly taste the quality of the air and hear the sounds echoing off the walls of the narrow street. Great job.

Will you add a watercolor wash. I would suggest warm yellows and reds to add to the atmosphere of the scene. Was it summer when you were there? Warmth would definitely be in.

Cheers, mate.

Great perspective. I might have mover the building on the right and little more to the right. I say this because the strong edge of the building is almost dead center. I think it might look better if the page side-to-side was more like a 1/3 of the page . Maybe to where the window is, let that be the left side of the building. That is just IMHO. It still looks good without any changes. Maybe next time.

I usually take a picture and divide the 12/18 to 3/4 squares/rectangle and my subject more to the right side of the drawing. So that the eye pulls itself into the drawing, makes the eyes in a circle to the left and back out again. That way the entire picture can be matted and/or framed and not take away from the buildings on the left. 😄 🙂 😑 😉

Really like the looseness of this with the watercolor. One suggestion that would really make your drawings pop even more than they already do, would be to add a little more line weight variation (a little more selectively placed heavier lines, but don’t over do it). That would be a great way to add more depth, and would not lose any of your nice style and looseness which really make this drawing so appealing. You are really doing some nice work.
