I have had my membership since December and got half way through a pencil course and then have done nothing Life got in the way. I decided to give the Lizard man a whirl in ink- starting w advanced was not the best choice but it was a study in planning and patience for me - some errors I was able to cover and some not- but I am really happy with it. ![Lizard Dude](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex030/uploads/thevirtualinstructor/original/2X/0/09b8206f1bb612e9e30f720deeebdb84fb9c19ef.jpeg) ---

That looks really good, that one was a hard one for me as well. I did had some problems with where the lizard head was I cross-hatched on the picture frame behind him by mistake. I feel like the snout (if you don’t mind me saying so), may have been better if it was a little longer, and I think the wall hatching was closer together. Despite that, you did a good job, and sometimes it’s good trying some out of our normal comfort zones. ---

@Tgad1 Wow Tgad1, you did really good!! You should definitely be happy about it. That is one piece I find super challenging just by looking at it. Maybe someday soon I’ll try it, in the meantime I will enjoy this one you drew! 😄 Sonia Alonzo ---

Oh the errors I made and covered are much worse than snout length. ---

Life sure has a way of shifting our focus sometimes, but I’m glad you jumped back in! Tackling the Lizard Man in ink is quite the challenge, and I admire your willingness to dive into something advanced. I think every piece teaches us something and learning to plan and be patient is such a huge part of the process. Can’t wait to see what you work on next; whether it’s continuing the pencil course or trying something new! Great work @Tgad1 Jess ---

I’m sure of that, but those were just things to keep in mind, although despite the mistakes it looks really good. I can’t wait to see original pen and ink drawing from you. ---
