I tried to place this pastel earlier, hope it will work now with Schmincke soft pastels on pastelmat ![20201016_144513 (2)](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex030/uploads/thevirtualinstructor/original/2X/3/31f6a2c6eb8635d89f8e6d37f4c007e1f09ab9ec.jpeg) again: the colors on my computerscreen are not right. In reality the background is greener and the tongue and eyes have a lot more color then I see here. especially tried to get the composition right, like Matt says: the rule of thirds and of course: tone and value. With his help, I go on, try and learn a lot. november 12th. Big surprise: Matt mentioned this puppy in the Members Minute. The puppy is even better now: I cropped the top, so the composition is better, more shadow and the light in the eye is placed in a better spot. The best teacher ever: Matt aspecially because he gives so much encouragement. ---
