Oh Terri, all people I know that hat a cataract operation are happy afterwards. Yet, I wouldn’t have the gut to go through it myself. Speedy recovery for both of your eyes. Buddy ---

Hi @theresebriggs I’m getting the more expensive lenses, but the doctor is doing what is called “mix and match” to get the best possible distance (for my photography) and really good intermediate for computer, and as good as possible close-up for my artwork. The only thing is that my brain will have to do more work for a while to figure out how to blend the two eyes together. I actually feel really good but have some blurry moments sometimes, but there are rules like not lifting, not bending over, wearing patch on the eye at night for a week, and lots of eye drops. I planted a wild flower meadow in front of it, which they love to mess around in and find interesting insects and plants to eat. ---

@siffermus Hi Sys, you have the happiest hens ever!!! Do you need to keep them inside during the winter season? ---

Hi Buddy, In the winterseason, they are just in the henhouse. There are always restrictions because of the bird flue. They are not to have contact with wild birds during flue season, which runs from November to March. And by now, I swear, I can practically pick up the pigeons too. One pair of pigeons even tried to build their nest inside the henhouse - but the chickens wouldn’t allow it. ---

Hi Sys, did I ever tell you that we used to keep 5 hens and a cock at home, when I was a kid? I don’t remember any bird flue back then. It’s bad here too. ---

Greetings from one of my favorite spots in a nearby park. I use to walk my dogs out there every day. The black lady is a mixture from a shelter and my service dog. She is about 9 years old. The white lady is a standard poodle puppy, who just turned 4 months. Hi Forum Friends - When doing some weeding around my deck I noticed some interesting things growing from a decaying stump and thought they might make some good reference photos for artwork. Here are two of my photos. Then I came back to the stump a day later and WOW, it was totally different. I was back with my camera and took another 100 photos. If you want to see those favorites, they are posted on Facebook. You might have to send me a friend request to see them (and if you do, I’m listed as Terri Robichon - and be sure to tell me that you are on the forum at TVI). ![8x10 fungi #9795](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex030/uploads/thevirtualinstructor/original/2X/f/f075d7cf1a29c9ed215693aa70efe2fe8b716460.jpeg) ![8x10 vert fungi 9779](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex030/uploads/thevirtualinstructor/original/2X/6/6ebed790bfdf6745c992761bdd8094b0a44dadae.jpeg) ---
