I am recently retired and live on the coast in Nova Scotia, Canada. I was always interested in art, but had no art courses in our school when I was a kid, so no training. I have drawn for fun all my life, but never good enough to show anyone. I have learned so much with these free courses, that I decided to sign up as a member for a year. I also am taking an online course through NSCAD (Nova Scotia College of Art and Design) and I am truly amazed at how much I’ve improved over a very short time with these excellent lessons and through NSCAD. It took many years, but I am now learning how! I am a nut about dogs and spent many years training, both obedience and advanced tracking (for Search and Rescue). I also ride (dressage). We have two Belgian Malinois and a Westie, along with a Lipizzaner who is now 30 years old! I also love music (classical) and play piano and several other instruments.
