Hi, I live in Australia and I use to enjoy art at school, but never had the opportunity to really explore it. I had my first art lesson in Fiji and I was introduced to pastels during these classes. I had dabbled with graphite, but pastels were something new and amazing. I just fell in love with the medium. Unfortunately life got in the way when I returned to Australia and my art has taken a back seat for a number of years. I am now in a place where I am finding time to start exploring graphite again and hopefully soon, my pastels as well. In the not too distant future, I will be retiring and then I will definitely have more time to learn, paint and draw!
