Hi everyone! During the Covid lock down I started to follow the Virtual Instructor on YouTube and found the art that he produced very beautiful and relaxing. The only form of art that I found interesting in my teenage and early adult life was photography, which was placed on hold when busy family life and work became a priority. I now enjoy gardening and woodworking very much, but felt that I wanted to try something again in art. Digital camera’s are interesting (the camera that I used was film), but I wanted something that I could do from the comfort of my home. I signed up with the Virtual Instructor and watched the different courses that he offered. I started with graphite pencils and charcoal, then ventured into watercolor pencil and tubes. I have a lot of learning to do, but enjoy every minute of practice…time sure passes quickly when you are having fun.
