Bootcamp 2.0 shiny sphere

The sphere was a great lesson in blending also besides getting values in the right place.
What did you all think of it?

I like your very accurate lines on the top of the sphere…and your blending in each highlight is excellent too!
Great job Brenda

Thank you so much, Therese! I found the sphere exercises to be harder overall than I anticipated. I enjoyed doing the shiny one most, but the wooden one was really fun!

Hello everyone,

All of you spheres look really shiny. I am blaming it on my old very old computer. I do think that I will do it over.

Have a nice morning, evening or afternoon from around the globe!

Everyone’s shiny spheres look great. I found that each sphere is so uniquely the style of painting that you created.

I am looking forward to the final project!

Hi everyone! I’m new here, and new to drawing. I’ve completed the Bootcamp in the past week and just added the final touch ups to my shiny sphere. I thought it would be a great exercise i self confidence to post my work  so here they are!

Hello Sarah,

For being new at drawing your spheres turned out excellent. Makes me want to redo all of mine!

I also want to welcome you to the Forum as well as The Virtual Instructor. You will find that we are friendly and welcoming. I suppose you know after attending the Monday class. Also wee are just starting a new live class on Wednesday’s at 8pm (EST). It is charcoal, one of the easier mediums to learn with.

So again, your spheres are excellent and you should feel very confident on a job well done! And welcome to the VI and VI Forum.

Wow SarahP great job …can’t believe you have just begun art …you are a natural! You must learn well from Matt’s instructions! You’ll find him to be a great instructor and easily able to be understood! I just started after many years of not doing any art and am learning and enjoying the classes and the forum greatly!
Welcome to both and come on Wed nite for Matt and Ashley together in a live class. They are truly great friends to have in your corner to learn so much about art!
Welcome again SarahP

Hi @SarahP WOW, your drawing skills are amazing. So glad you decided to join us here on the forum and I hope you keep sharing your wonderful work.

Here are my spheres…I got a bit behind. I probably did not leave enough room between the circles.

The rocky one made me crazy! I’m ready for the flower vase now.
