I’m creating a portrait for myself with prismacolor.
Now the clothing has some very dominant shadows. Today I worked on this part for over an hour, but it still looks more like stains than shadows.
How can I differentiate in a drawing? Any good tutorials or live lessons for this issue?
Good lesson to watch. It is for pastels, but concepts are same for colored pencils. In the menu go to “Painting Lessons” and select “Pastels” and then select “Still Life”. The name of the class is . . . How to Draw Fabric Folds.
