Artist in pointillism

Hello everyone,

This is a project I recently finished. It took a really long time a hour her and there but was worth it.

Thanks for taking a look.

This is great. I love it.

Dear Teri,

While having a coffee, I am browsing the forum and just have seen your wonderful art work. All your art pieces from your Gaza project, you have been working on so hard this year, are absolutely fantastic and very special. I am sure, Matt would be very happy to critique this one, if you like to send it in. And at least I will be happy to see what he has to say.

I do like your composition so much. This artist does have hope and is dreaming of a world that includes Palestine as a whole. At least this is what she does to me. You know, I am really hoping that one day, both Israel and Palestine will live together in one country or at least side by side.

But maybe, these are just silly dreams of mine?

About your colors chosen: The main subject is obviously the artist, as we are easily drawn to living beings in an art work. But since the artist herself has her own focal point and because her art (the map) is the only part of your art work with bright colors, to me this is the second focal point. Do I make sense?

Everything in this piece is so very well rendered. The background so very well helps this piece to come together. I have never accomplished an art work by pointillism only, and this style is so unique for you. I assume that you spent many, many, many hours on this, and it’s worth every single dot.

Really well done, Teri!

See you hopefully on tonight’s classes,

Buddy
