My recent project. Any tips on making dark shadows over a portrait? It’s on Bristol vellum paper using prismacolor pencil.

I also commented on your other post of this piece of art. My recommendation is to use several layers of colored pencils with more than one color. And then a colorless blender will help to mix the colors together and smooth out the texture. Hope this helps. And thanks for adding the info about the paper and brand of colored pencils. That makes it easier to respond.
