I warned you all that my “imagination” skills weren’t all there. But this is definitely a start. It can only get better, yeah? ![]()
StellaR,
Love yours! Your blind contour was quite close. Here are mine! I really enjoyed this lesson. So important to go back to to the beginning and remember what we forgot! Can’t wait until next week
Hopefully more will share. It is fun to see what others managed to do
Thanks! Your’s aren’t bad either. Your 50% continuous line looks great
@StellaR and @junenez i think you both did a great job. I’ll post mine when I do them later. Rough day to work along, as you well know June - Lyme Disease is a real interference - ugh!
Again, really like how both of yours turned out!

Ok. I’ll post the pencil sharpener, but I have to go back and take pics of the guitar drawings. I did this yesterday, very sloppy, so I started again and here’s what I’ve got until next lesson. I was delighted to see that the video is already posted. It helped tremendously to draw along with Matt the second time.
From imagination. Looks like a stringed avocado!
Blind contour. Not sure why I stopped with no details! And I didn’t switch over to ink! ![]()
50% observation.
My skinny, disproportionate sharpener. Thus, it was redone.
Very cool avocado guitar
, but you know I think it’s very interesting that you didn’t forget about the shadow for the guitar! I wouldn’t even think about it, so well done for that thought!
As well, great re-do of sharpener ![]()
Thanks, @Lucy! I’m looking forward to next week!
@StellaR I’m particularly impressed with your blind contour! Good job!
Brenda
@junenez I love your picassoesque blind contour drawing!!! At least you attempted to put strings on yours. LOL!
Brenda
These are all so great! Can’t wait to see how we do next week
Hi @StellaR
Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. You’re doing just fine and we all start somewhere.
Terri
Everyone has done a great job! As soon as Matt posts the lesson I will post mine. You all have inspired me.
Here is my sharpener. I wasn’t happy with the first one so I ripped it out and redid it up to the point we stopped at on Monday. As you all can see, my sketch work is much better than my line work.
