In an earlier forum I shared the colored pencil painting of a Grey Heron, and here I am sharing the difference between the pencil and the oil version of the same topic. I really enjoy oil painting, but in this case I think the pencil version is much more attractive. What do you think?

Both are great but I agree with you on the colored pencil. I feel it captures more the detail. Wonderful work

Thanks for your response. The pencil was a commission already sold but the oil was just another version. Now in inventory.
