So this is my first attempt at free handing a Stick figure. Obviously I went off the page. So more work needed to improve composition and stay within the page.
Wonderful job. This is great. Love it.
I saw these figures from you in an email and I couldn’t resist posting this picture. Can you guess why?
Beautiful! - but I can’t guess why. Does it have something to do with composition and staying on the page?
Oh no, yours is very nice no matter. My comment was referring to the similarity of composition. Very similar stick people.
Hi @siffermus
I suggest you watch several of the Gettin’ Sketchy episodes. At the beginning of many of them they talk about how to position the subject matter so that it is where you want it on the piece of paper. I think you will find it helpful with your composition comment. Furthermore, select drawings done by Ashley because he is so good at describing where he starts and why. Then how to proceed from there.

Thank you, I will try that.
Hi @siffermus
One Gettin Sketchy lesson that I remember, I just looked up. Go to main menu and look for EXPLORE. Under that select BLOG.
Then scroll until you find Gettin’ Sketchy: Season 11, then take a look at: Drawing of a Hand.
Just a thought. There are several good ones.

Well done! I like it the way it is, looks as if he’s on a mission going somewhere

@siffermus I am not sure what lesson but there is also one where they draw a figure and they start with a stick figure.
If I can find the link I’ll copy it here.

Here are some links on figure drawing. If you put in search figure drawing it will show you everything on figure drawing.. Most drawings teach about space too.
I hope that this helps you.
Also I think you did a wonderful job with your first stick drawing.
