I know it is not art work, but we had a special springtime guest today. This bird flew into our house today. So, my son in effort to catch him put a piece of bread on the banister. So the bird decided to perch on it.

Looks like a barn swallow.
Terri Robichon
Terri @robichon , I think you are correct. I couldn’t get close enough to get his pretty orange throat.
He hung around inside for about 2 hours before deciding to leave.
Lenet.
I like birds, but not in the house. They get stuck in our attached garage all the time. We even had a hawk in the garage feasting on one of the little birds. All it left behind were the feathers.
Terri Robichon
Terri @robichon , Ouch.
Glad he is gone, but was fun to watch for a while. He left on his own. Although my Cane Corso trie to catch him a time or two. But he couldn’t jump that high.

Definitely a barn swallow! They are so beautiful!

Thanks for sharing! Gave me a chuckle. Birds in the house are not fun! I’ve used a broom before to encourage one to leave
@junenez , broom did no good, with 21 foot ceilings. Had to just wait it out. Shut off lights, and keft back door open.
