inspired by Maki (and her work on a theme idea) I did 3 tiny fruits using only Faber soft pastel sticks. There’s a photo with my graphite pencil for scale. Really, really fun, and really quick. Makes the mind work, and makes you figure out when to stop!!
I could imagine incorporating fruit at this size in a larger work, where these are nestled nicely in the background, maybe in a sort of 16th century style…
