Hello everyone.
Recently I finished an attempt of painting some blackberries in soft pastels.
This was a new subject and pastels are new to me. I generally have worked in Acrylics, Colored Pencils, and graphite. But here at the VI I am expanding wings a bit.
Any suggestions or comments on improvements are always welcome.

Since I’ve only been hanging out at the forum for maybe 4 or 5 months, there are several things from last year that I haven’t seen. This one just popped up and I wanted to be sure to tell you how much I like it! You didn’t just “attempt” this drawing, you succeeded and it is beautiful.

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I really had fun with this one. I enjoy pastels and have many pieces I just put in the drawer. Sometimes I take a look at them to see how things are going. Again, thanks for the encouragement.
