Does anyone have a good source in Europe for the pens Matt’s using in the new course? I’ve found them on Amazon UK for almost €60 (plus a further €8 for shipping) for 10 pens. Judging by the price on Amazon US ($18 and they won’t ship to Ireland) this is way over priced. The general Zebra site doesn’t even mention that they exist.
For now I’m using PaperMate InkJoy pens

Hello @janed Your cat is looking great! I hate that it’s such a hassle to get a hold of those Zebra pens all the way to Ireland. I can see that a different pen works for the cat drawing. The Zebra pen is 0.7 mm if it helps tho know that in any way.

Thanks Sonia. I have ordered the other Zebra pens. I have used them before and thought I still had black but I couldn’t find any in my supplies.
I did email Zebra last night as suggested by Maki and I’ll report if they have any sources.

I’ll just keep checking back, if they pop in at a cheaper price I’ll jump on them.
I would give cult pens a try. I’ve always found them pretty reasonable and they carry a lot of ranges. Www.cultpens.com

We sent your enquiry over to our head Office to see if this item was available in EU.
They have responded with the following statement.
*“Following a review by our Environmental Department, *
we have been advised that the product (R-8000-BK Rubber 80 pen) can no longer be sold in the UK or EU.
Reason:
*All barrel colours contain 1.2% of the restricted substance DEHP (a phthalate), *
which exceeds the new regulatory limit and constitutes a non-compliance issue.”
The item that is advertised on the Amazon site, has been import ( Japanese export) by a 3rd party seller. We have shared this information to our head office to make them aware that this item is being traded in the UK, and they are further investigating the source.
So unfortunately in this instance, this item is not available to purchase in EU market.
I know it is not the answer you are looking for.
