Recently I was trying out new techniques toward abstraction and completed this series. I was encouraged to post them here as a way to bring more discussion regarding abstract art here.

I am not an abstract critic but when I look at abstract it is all about the mood, movement, colors, etc. They are all very nice but the one that “speaks” to me is the 4th one you shared. I get a peaceful feeling and hear birds! Keep sharing! It is fun to see something different

Thank you for the feedback. Like I said elsewhere, I’m still learning to walk when it comes to art so I’m working on my drawing and perspective and color theory, but every now and again one feels the need to stretch the muscles and just let go. I tell my roommate to put on an apron because I’m gonna “experiment” and paint is likely to be flung everywhere. It’s a lot of fun.
