This bird is a hybrid falcon. I’ve had mixed results with colored pencil, but he just seemed to demand rendering. I wish they were all this cooperative. I used, mostly, Caran d’Arche Pablo pencils on hot press 140 # watercolor paper. I may add a slight background of watercolor wash, mostly around the endfe fading to the bird. I just can’t decide what color to use. Green? Blue?

Blue would be wonderfull, because you used blue and it is the combination of the sienna that will enhance it. Nicely done!
