This was my 4th attempt at working with soft pastels. It is a picture portrait of one of the cats of a good friend of mine.

You really did a nice job with the fur. Texture is great. I have four rescue cats now 17 years old, but all are short hair. The eyes are beautiful and located along the upper third line so makes for a very nice composition and focus on the eyes.
Thank you so much for your kind words in regard to my drawing. I think it is great when individuals like yourself take in rescue animals.
