Sumi brushes. Has anyone used these?

Hi, has anyone use these for watercolors? I have a brand new one and am nervous about starting with it. Any help out there?

Hi! It is not the Mark- making that I’m concerned about.
Thinking about its use with so much water. Its ferule Is composed of a few twists of wire wrapped with a plastic sleeve. It is the mechanics of dipping in water and paint that I’m curious about.
I’m afraid its intent is only for calligraphy. I will try some YouTube research.
