A nostalgic drawing of a medieval bridge

Homage to a place I lived as a teenager….one of only 4 bridges incorporating a chapel in the UK. It was used for many purposes over the years….a pub, brothel, doctors surgery, a toll gate and private housing. That’s me in the boat :blush:
I don’t normally draw buildings but did enjoy doing this one. It’s all coloured pencil using Caran D’Ache.

Hi Janet - I love this drawing. The texture of the water is nicely done. The image of YOU as seen from behind in the boat is the part that I like the most. And you did a great job with how you handled the colored pencils. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you…I really value your feedback…it was a big piece of work (33 x 23 inches) …at one point I thought it may not get finished but so pleased I got there :upside_down_face: I kept overthinking it!
