After watching Matt do a live soft pastel painting last year, I decided to try them. I ended up buying four different sets of pencils and sticks and I’m so glad I did. This barn owl was one of my first paintings using soft pastels. This is a new medium for me and it is a work in progress but I’m loving it already.
