Just having some fun. Boris was drawn with graphite 2h, h. b, & 9xxb. Franky was drawn using vine & stick charcoal. Vine charcoal for the background. The paper is Master’s Touch Bristol Vellum 100lb. I welcome any & all feedback.
Thank you!
Wow! The values are great! The Frankenstein is so good and realistic. Love it!

Sonia, thank you for your kind words. Given the subject, I was not going to post this. It was just an exercise in contrast & value. Again, thank you for your input.

What a great idea and executed very nicely. So glad you shared it.

I think this is excellent! My daughters favorite book is Frankenstein and you have done a wonderful job rendering Dr Frankenstein’s monster. Love that you paired with Boris. He did the best job of being the monster.
Jim,
This is a wonderful drawing, like Sonia said the values work great. Show real depth.

Hello Terri, thank you for your input.
Jim
Teri, thank you so much. I must be on the right track.
Jim
Junenez, Thank you very much. The 1932 Universal picture, which as a kid I watched every chance it was on TV. It was only a couple of years ago that I read the book. So different are the two.
Again, thank you,
Jim
