I’ve never been able to embrace charcoal as I find it too messy but today I’m determined to get past the mess and learn something about this lovely medium

Wow! For someone who has not embraced charcoal before you are doing wonderful with this medium.

I do hope that you keep posting your progress. If you are a member the series of classes now at 8pmEST is a trumpet in charcoal and in the vault of the hundreds of courses and classes on charcoal lessons.

I really like this one because the contrast is beautiful here. You can almost touch the trunk of the tree. Good job. :grinning_face:

Wow this is nice. What I like about it is the beard it is almost like you can feel and touch the bristle touch and the wrinkles you can see it is an old man.

I’m finding slowing down difficult I seem to just go full steam ahead and miss the deeper forms and values @pog078
Though I’m very happy with what I’m learning from these courses
In time I know I’ll improve :thinking::heart:
