Good morning and happy Sunday
I was just wondering which paper is best to work on with coloured pencils. Its nice to be able to layer lots so I have been using Pastelmat but are there any othet suggestions?
my pencils get worn down quite quickly. thank you
On the colored pencil class on here with Matt he uses Bristol paper and vellum texture.
Bristol paper. It is also good for watercolor
Thank you so much. I shall try the Bristol paper. The vellum sounds good as my friend asked me to draw her two girls in graphite so it could be good for that too. I’ve never done a graphite portrait so I may look at Matts portrait course first ![]()
