Hi Nicole! Is this oil or soft pastels? I’m thinking oil? What kind of paper? It’s a terrific sketch. I like the monotone quality of it, and there is a complete range of values with the eyes being the obvious focal point. Do you plan to develop this further? Thanks for sharing it!

Soft pastel on Strathsmore “green book” sketch book paper…like 11x14 or 14x17. Probably don’t plan on going back. It was a 20 min or so thing I did along with a timed exercise with a program I do. One of my favor. things to do are expressive portraits in soft pastels. I will post more. Thanks for feedback.
