Pen and Ink drawings

@lenetg137 I almost went with a Dodge Ram for the dodge prompt, so I get it! Good job.

Your pen marks really show the texture of the avocado skin - nice!

Catching up on Inktober slowly, but not giving up. Day 7 & 8, “Drip” & “Toad”

Hang in there, Lenet! I’m sort of caught up right now with most of my art. INKtober is caught up, but I still have to do last week’s Live Lesson catch-up. I started today on the elephant in the Subjects with Pen and Ink course. I hope to finish it tomorrow along with the Live Lesson work.

Good job on the drip and toad prompts. I particularly like the faucet. It looks heavy, brassy, and drippy!!

INKtober 2023, Day 11
Wander – a beautiful memory with scary undertones!

No judging the composition! It doesn’t exist. Wandering doesn’t require much planning. Of course, there had to be a lot of planning to get to and from the places I wandered in! It’s scary down under, at least when you first get there, alone. LOL This was in 2006

Elephant.

It was very tempting to skip over this lesson. I’m glad I didn’t. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But it looks more like an elephant than I would have ever thought. Drawn completely free hand. If I had gotten only improved drawing skills from this course, that would’ve been enough. But I’m coming away with a new love for ink.

Guys you are absolutely smashing it. I hope I will now (after family holiday’s over) find some time for myself and art. To follow your example.

Brenda,

I really enjoyed drawing the shoe, though it was a bit difficult. I did it twice!!

Teri

Go for it all of you Inktober inkers!! Everyone’s looks great! Lenet, glad to see you joining in here.

Teri

lenetg,

These are wonderful, the toad looks real! Just like the one that jumped out of my son’s shoe when he was two. Where we lived in Guatemala, we were sung to sleep to the song of the toads.

Inktober, day 14, Castle

This is as far as I made it with today’s prompt. It’s part of Windsor castle near Henry VIII’s gate.

Inktober 2023, day 15 — DAGGER

Not fond of knives, swords, daggers, etc. but I like a nicely garnished martini!!! More than one kind of dagger.

@Brenda Clever approach Brenda I like your style  I ever so often struggle to look outside the box. You nailed it.

Thanks @janar75! I have always struggled with looking beyond the obvious. Drawing every day seems to be loosening up more than just my drawing skills!
