I was inspired by Matt’s live lesson. I admit, I didn’t follow the lesson along exactly, instead I traced the basic contour outline and used his finished drawing as a reference for the contour and shading. It was definitely a great lesson in using a dip pen and India ink and I had to force myself to take my time and work one pen stroke at a time. I wasn’t always successful, but the drawing as a whole is satisfying for me.
BTW: I used Bristol Vellum paper.
