Following my first trial of white pen & black paper, I drew a scene of flying long-tailed tits and trees.

Very nice! Awesome how you changed it up, adding in the light instead of the shadows on black paper with white pen! :smile: :clap:

Hello TheMustardSeedLife, thank you for your kind words. Yes, it is a bit puzzling but very interesting to work with a white pen on a black paper. At first I thought using an inverted black and white reference would be good enough as preparation, but I realised it would not at all…I feel that I need to learn a lot more about how to best utilize the white-on-black setting. I’ll keep working! :+1: :cat: :tada:
