I tried to replicate this Van Gogh painting using oil pastels. It’s on Cansan Mi Tientes paper. Just a fun exercise.

It looks like Vincent could have stepped right in to the shoes! Great job. It is not our job to make a perfect rendering of someone else’s work, but to use their work to stimulate our own creativity.
