I appreciate your kind words. I am personally pleased at how this turned out. Earlier today I was looking at it when my husband walked by. I told him that it was one of my favorites, and the reply was that it’s because it makes me think about my dad. My husband is right.

Looks great Janed ! Hoping to do the Getting sketchy this wed but it’s at a difficult time so will have to hurry on my job at the Pastor’s residence. He was used to a house keeper for the last 14 years at the old parishes (over 500 people together in two parishes…ours only about 40 persons).
So I volunteered cuz its just a small two bedroom residence which I helped build back in the day (did the sheet rock mudding!)!

WOW! Sonia, I find it hard to do on a 5x7 so pastels on a smaller surface has to be really hard ! This is definitely well done! Great work!

HI @theresebriggs I used black Mi Tientes touch paper. I don’t remember what Ashley used. I had this at the fair a year ago in Aug 2025, and yes it did get a first place.
