Wonderful job. I never try to follow during the live. I can’t seem to concentrate enough on what I do and get lost in watching Matt or Ashley.

Here’s my welder
On Black Canson Velvet pastel paper 4x5 with my always on hand pastel pencils. Followed right along!!! 
Loooooooooove my soft pastels!!!

I can’t wait to see your pastels welder. I permanently keep my pastel pencils all sorted out in clear little drawers on top of my desk, as well as paper scraps of all kinds in a paper holder. So I grabbed first thing I saw and used it. Turned out ok, considering the hurriedness I was in.

Love it. Great job and interesting.
Worked on my hardworking welder a little more. It’s still sketchy, but not so shabby sketchy It’s tiny 3.5 x4.5 inches

Hi Sonia. Wow, that’s small, but definitely improved. I have now worked on my 8x10 version for two days (14 hours) and think I will finish tomorrow. It’s been such a joy to work on and I can’t wait to show you.

….I started reworking my little white rose in oils! I am enjoying oils so much!!! …and I can’t wait to show you, well whenever it dries enough for adding a couple more layers.

Yes that drying time can drive you crazy. I have found if I use a lot of medium with the paint, it greatly increases the drying time.

I FINISHED so here is my WELDER. 8x10 on black Mi-Teintes - Touch paper (thanks @Meme5) using pastel pencils. It took me about 18 hours over a 3-day period of time.
