Where do you live & what's happening there

Thanks Elina. I’m close to finessing him & getting background done. Haven’t been able to work on as much due to necessary outdoor work. He’s so cute, so was fun working on this picture. I’m amazed at what I need to improve every time I go to work on this. My husband calls him ‘Sparky’.

Hi Sonia

A couple of those could be interesting abstract paintings. Hope someone else was driving while you were photographing.

Hello Terri w2r, I thought of the abstract concept as well! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
The pictures had to be taken :grimacing::face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:
Wait, actually was a video that later screenshot pieces of.

Hello James @jjames25

Wow! James your racoon is turning out amazing. It’s expression is different and much nicer. seems so friendly and docile but at the same time shy.

I look forward to seeing him/her finished

Well - it’s springtime here in Denmark, and my apple tree is in bloom, and the chicks are enjoying running around in the yard. They’ve been in isolation for months

due to an outbreak of birdflue in the neighbouring village.

Hi @siffermus

Absolutely beautiful, and those chickens could be the subjects of some great artwork. I’ve never been to your country so thanks for sharing.

Stunning pictures! Your tree is so pretty full of flowers, you must get tons of apples. What kind of apples does your tree produce?
And eggs too?

A picture of a dissection of an eastern mole’s tunnel in my backyard which track all over my yard. It’s about 2-3 inches in diameter ( don’t trust my measurements it’s just a wild guess)
I had to google the name of the animal that I’ve never seen in person. I thought it was interesting

Takes me back to when we had a mole and my little nephew (about 3 years old at the time) asked about the molehills - and I told him about the cute, little animal that lives in them. He dug up more or less 70 % of the garden trying to find the mole.

Thank you for the kind words. It is a Belle de Boscop tree and on average I get about 200 kg of apples a year. I have becomed pretty good at making homemade organic apple juice. The apples grow so big that one is enough for an entire appel pie.

Your nephew sure wants to know what the creature looks like, and so do I lol! My front and backyard both grow more weeds than grass, I wander if those pesky creatures are to blame? I still find them interesting

I never knew about that apple variety, so I googled your Belle de Boskoop apples and they are beautiful! Not to mention the size of them as you mention. Apparently that kind of apple tree wouldn’t thrive here in East Texas but are grown in colder areas such as New York, Maine, and Washington.. wow we learn something every day!!

You must share pictures of the apples when they grow!
