Would you be happy receiving these drawings as a gift?

Would you be happy if you received either/both of these drawings as a gift (assuming the subjects were relevant to you)? I started drawing back in August to try and draw a portrait of my nephew for my brother and his wife as well as one for my Mum. I’m going to be seeing them later this week and have drawn these two drawings (one portrait for my brother/his wife, the other is for my Mum and is of her and my nephew walking) and was wondering if they would be well received.. Any tweaks you would suggest making?

(Apologies if the lighting isn’t the best in the one of my Mum and nephew, it is past daylight where I am so had to photograph it with a light on)

Thanks everyone, I did give them to my family and they seemed to really liked them (or at least that’s what they said..). I also finished this one (again all in graphite) which I gifted to my Dad.
