Great. I love it. Love the colors too.

Thanks Denise for the comment too

Hello Freddy,
Your cafe’ is so quaint, it makes me to visit and have a cup of coffee. You did a really nice job. I’ve never used U=ART paper but have heard really good things about it.

Teri (Artsy)

Thanks Teri for your kind comment, You should give the UART paper a try, it is the best sanded paper in my opinion, I do prefer the 400 grit as opposed to the 600 though

Freddy, I may do that sometime. Have you tried Pastelmat? I was just gifted some so am not sure how it works. I did do some artwork on really fine sandpaper and really liked how well it worked.

Teri(Artsy)

No Teri, I have not used pastelmat by Clairfontaine but I have used other “mat” papers, I like the stiffness of it, give it a try, I think you will like it. By the way, what kind of paper do you use?

Freddy, I use canson -Mi-Tienes velvet touch. It is also a little stiffer and holds onto the pastels well. A friend did give me some pastel matt paper and I have used it once now. It is nice but the velvet touch is more in my price range.

Agreed on the price, pastelmat is quite costly, I’ve also heard of using sandpaper from the hardware store but mnever have tried it, what grit did you use? I would think that it performs the same as sanded pastel paper after all thats what sanded pastel paper is, right?

I started with 1000 grit [a[er. Off to the live class!

I’ll have to try that, have a good class
