Blue Jay in Pastel

I decided to do Mat’s blue jay in pastel instead of colored

pencil. I used pan pastels for the background. I added a few extra branches. We had bluejays in California who would beg for peanuts everyday and almost would eat out of our hand. Now we are in Texas and the jays here don’t like peanuts.
