Capturing Cuteness with Acrylic

I have tried a direct approach for starting this painting on canvas. I used a minimal grid method to capture the proportion from the reference photo.
For me, the main challenge for this painting was to achieve the blond hair of the child.
My palette consists of Burnt Umber, Burnt sienna, Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Bule, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Yellow, Scarlet Lake, Crimson Lake, and Titanium White for this painting.

I will love to hear any suggestions and comments from you.

Thank you so much for your kind words.

Beautiful picture. I see the dark eyes and nostrils and then the orange but a little flat as compared to the rest of her face. Maybe a little darker around and down the center of the orange and under it so that it looks like it is protruding out of her mouth. But, that is just what I see. Overall it is a fabulous painting. Such a beautiful child. You got the blond hair spot on.
