Companion apple to the green one

This is the companion to the green apple that I did the other day. I am using old acrylic disasters to paint my practice oil paintings on, so that is why there is a ridge down the picture. LOL!

Very good. You mentioned the ridge and I cannot see it.
That is what Matt means when he says it is your painting. You don’t have to show the reference or let people know what you think are mistakes. They probably won’t see them anyway.

What a wonderful idea to recycle your acrylics for oils. The shine is amazing! Well done. If you don’t mind my asking, how long does it take to do a painting like this? Do you complete in a sitting or multiple sittings? Do you mix your oil with any medium?
