I didn’t find a thread for the tomatoes so I started one. I hope to see all of yours.
I must say oil pastels are a challenging media to me but they are so fun. I loved using oil medium to make it look like an oil painting, although I kind of used my fingers to make a little better transitions. My tomatoes are not pro material but I loved painting them.

I am wishing you well with a speedy recovery from your eye surgery , and can’t wait to see your tomatoes posted. I hope you like those new Meeden oil pastels as much as I do which are what I used on this tomatoes, i used a Sennelier from my set of 40 last minute to add a little bright orange that my 72 ct Meeden didn’t have. It was very enjoyable

Uuuuu, this looks so cool! I will keep in mind to try this one. But first I have to go thru my “duck-taking forever-project” in acrylics

I actually never finished my duck. It might be time to revisit it now that you’ve brought it up. My poor acrylic duck is waiting to be finished in the corner of unfinished work. Acrylics are super challenging to me!!

well, I started with it, didn’t like the waves, repainted it, again didn’t like it, going to repaint again 
I don’t think I have ever started the project 3 times, but this duck got it 
These ripples were making me crazy and with a combination of acrylic’s super dry effects… you know what I am speaking about.
But I am not giving up. Now I will repaint the background cause it is too light and let’s see how I will manage the ripples this time.
Well, if you will consider to get in that painting again, I will be happy, at least I won’t be alone fighting with a duck

They look very good. Well done. 
Drawing all day and finally finished the oil pastel tomatoes from Gettin’ Sketchy using the Stonehenge black 300# cold press watercolor paper and Meeden Oil pastels. Background blended with the rubber shaper tool and Winsor & Newton Oil Colour - Blending & Glazing Medium on tomatoes, with shaper tool for finishing touches.
