This was a fun one! Of course, I think they are all fun. Let’s see those apples!
Looks good Lisa @HarleysMom
I haven’t decided if I’ll do this one. Probably not because I already have too many unfinished things sitting around.
Terri
I think you should. It is very appealing.
Appealing! I get it!
Looks great, @junenez !
That’s fantastic, Sonia!
Everyone’s apples look yummy! Like Terri (with 2r’s) I still have four live lessons, maybe more that are half done. So just enjoy Matt and Ashley’s badgering as the teach us!
Teri (with 1r)
I love the soft flowy look. Great job!
I can see it, Teresa, hmmmmm, what do you mean with “flagged”?
I’m loving all the apples! Fruit is one of my favorite models. They stay still forever!
Hi Sonia @Meme5
I will always be a lover of your artwork. You take pride in the things you create, and you are so very good. Thanks for sharing for all to enjoy.
Terri
Hi forum friends. After the Gettin’ Sketchy (end of the season) critique last night on YouTube I was inspired to get this one done. Mine is 5x7 using Oil Pastels. I spent about 5 hours on it.
Terri
Terri @robichon
Looks as if you just ate it, except you left a lot of good apple flesh in there! The drawing it’s wonderful! ![]()
Sonia
@robichon Hot dang that’s a pretty apple core!! Beautiful work, Terri. Your skill with so many media is truly impressive.
Lisa
Thanks so much Lisa @HarleysMom
Some media are easier for me than others. Several I never even tried until becoming a member at The Virtual Instructor. Oil Pastel (which is what I used for the Apple Core) is actually one of my most difficult because it’s like drawing with a tube of lipstick, but I’m finally getting the hang of it.
Terri
Looks amazing Terri! ![]()
Well done for trying this with a different media. Thanks for showing us a version of the apple in oil pastels ![]()
