HAHAHA! In Georgia it is DRAW-N like leaving the A off the end of Atlanta (A LAN nah) or Savannah (Sa VAN nah). I can’t believe how prominent my ‘Southern DRAWL’ is until I hear it on a recorded line. I won’t even go into the words I slaughter, there are a lot of them.
Hello Lenora, I am near you in Asheville NC but can’t get to GA due to Neurological Lyme disease. I have tremors to due to Lyme by seizures and dystonia. One time I through the paint brush across the room and decorated the wall. White wall with red paint drops across it.
I find painting easier than drawing when drawing can be difficult, I also find that if I have two or three projects at a time going depending on the intensity of a project which I can work on. I think oil pastels are something easy to use and can be drawn loosely. Also, landscapes where a little tremor helps out, like in trees. Sometimes I just work 5 minutes on one project, half hour on another, etc. I find it therapeutical to work on different styles of painting and drawing in all different forms at the same time Maybe just doodling might inspire you! It inspires me at times.
Hopefully this will give you a bit of inspiration.
I also have seizures (epilepsy) but thankfully most of the time controlled by medication. I think with taking about 6 different medications including the one for seizures has caused the tremors.
I’ve been doing these classes for one year now with Matt & Ashley! I love them! I haven’t figured out how to post a drawing yet?
Hope someone electronically more savy can help with that??
I’ve started doing portraits of kids after his picture with Avery. But I can’t show you yet??

Love your name we used to have a Mustard Seed Book Store here in my state close to me. Was a nice place to get religious art things!
I may be able to add photos of my work now. I think I have figured it out?
Thanks for the welcoming MustardSeed Life!
So, when you go to post/reply there’s this little icon that looks similar to this: When you click on it the upload menu will open, select the picture(s) you want to share, and that’s pretty much it! Let me know if that works for you! And thank you for complimenting my username! Jesus loves you!!!

Hi guys, my name is Glenn, I’m 36 and I’m working in a company that paints wooden planks with machines to build houses and stuff like that. I’m a team leader there and make sure we do our part for the day.
I was born in Belgium and now I live in the Netherlands and recently got married to a Thai girl.
We just applied for her visa so we can finally live together so we waiting on the answer right now.
I recently picked up drawing again after a 15 year break. I think I’m most comfortable in graphite and starting to get more and more into realism.
I do plan on trying out way more mediums in the future and hope someday I feel comfortable drawing portraits in oil paintings. I don’t see myself as an artist yet but I’m hoping to become one in the future.
I’m so happy I found this community as everyone is so nice and helpful and I’ll definitely stay here for many years
So thank you to all of you and thank you Matt for creating this space!
Best regards and keep painting/drawing!

Slippypaints, Welcome to the forum and community. Yes, it is a great place to learn. I have not regretted one moment of all that there is available to learn. Look forward to seeing one of your portrait oil paintings!
Congratulation on your marriage and best with all the paperwork for her visa. I have been there, and it can get frustrating but well worth it when done!
