I have done several portraits of my beloved husband. Here is my latest in oils on 11x14 stretched canvas. It was a struggle. I am still learning with oil paints.
You are doing a great job. Really wonderful in getting the eyeglasses to look like they should fit (on his nose). The perspective is spot on. Nice looking man. I don’t see what is anything that I would change. Again, the eyeglasses look wonderful with the highlights and shadows.

I did a picture in pastels that I submitted here - I think I named it something llike Business Man (with glasses?)
