Mushrooms in water-mixable oil paints

Hello everyone.

Here is one of my first attempts in water-mixable oils. I really enjoy using them.

I used an 8 x 10 canvas panel and Winsor-Newton water-mixable oils.

I used two reference photos and a pit of imagination. Tried to push the blues in the grass to enhance the oranges in the mushrooms. It was a fun project.

The orange color really makes them stand out, and I love how you mentioned that you incorporated a “pit of imagination” into the piece–YES! :mushroom: :100: :smile:
