Hello all,
I am having fun with pastels lately. I decided try something outside my comfort zone of cows! I did struggle with this frog but overall ended up pretty happy with the results. Any suggestion or comments are always welcome!

Hello June @junenez , this is a very nice drawing. I really like how you only see part of the frog in the water. The contrast between the surrounding water and highly detailed frog head really makes the drawing come to life. Great job with the pastels.

Thank you! I was so happy when I saw that Matt had critiqued the frog. I did it as a gift for my sister. Learned alot about what I could do to improve and it was heart warming to hear that he liked my color choices and my “brush” marks.

Thanks! I worked quite a bit on the little frog. Hated it for quite some time but then was quite happy when I was finally done!
