TJ is actually the cat of our youngest son who adopted him 11 years ago when he was in college the first time. I think the cat lived with him for a year before he ended up at mom and dad’s house (my wife and I!) We have had him ever since. The photo reference was from a picture that our son took a year or so ago, and I decided to see how I could do with getting him on an art piece. This was on Toned Mixed Media by Strathmore, using a combo of Prismacolor pencils, Pan Pastels and some Caran d’Ache Supracolors. I’ve also included my photo reference.

I would go darker on the darkest value on the fur…and add some more shading on the fur, but great job!
