I actually like things that include the really dark and really light colors. The contrast is so good, and I think of Halloween when I see it.

Very kind of you to comment so positively about this piece. Hopefully by practicing, the bad paintings start to improve. I thought only oil paintings could create literal blobs of color, but somehow I managed to make a watercolor blob. I’m happy I tried, just not satisfied with the results.
