Hello Jane,

Looks like a double congratulations is due you!!

Thank you for sharing this very special photo of you and your husband. do you ride motorcycles?

I have a friend I met on a Lyme Disease Complex website about 10 years ago.

She and her husband now are riding motorcycles all over the place. They toured Thailand, The west coast of North and South America, Alaska - Argentina/Chile as well as an occasional Island. Also a trip through Europe. She lives in the UK.

i am really happy to hear that you are cleared by your oncologist. This is wonderful news.

Thanks @Meme5 Sonia and @TLP Teri.

We are not bikers at all, although we do get asked a lot. I do have a bicycle but I don’t get out on it as much as I’d like so.

Here is my follow-up post. I called it my “photo of the day”. My husband calls it dinner.

One other comment. I took this as a horizontal, but then thought that I think it might be better as a vertical. What do you think (I’m planning on using the photo at the local county fair).

Depending on who’s looking at it in real life, your picture of the day/dinner looks fine either way. JS

Hello Terri (with 2r’s,

Vertical, definitely vertical! It gives your hubby’s dinner real character, especially for the fair. Hopefully more will chime in.

Wonderful picture, What medium do you think you will use?

Hi Teri w1r

This fish photo is going to be submitted in the PHOTOGRAPHY category, not as artwork. At least not this year.

Thanks for your feedback. I really have been undecided.

Cathy @cmhales7,

I could not imagine having kangaroos in the wild anywhere near me like you have. I would brag about it!
That baby kangaroo was wearing a diaper and pretty much kept in a denim pouch. Can’t recall if he was still being bottle fed or not. A very exciting experience!

Hi Sonia
Well you will love this Bennett’s wallaby (native to Tasmania) who came right up to our campsite to show off her little joey who was almost ready to leave the pouch. We are always thrilled to see them up close, they seem to quite like being around people and sometimes we’ve had them lie down and relax very close to our campsite.

Hi Terri, I agree, vertical …. it presents an interesting perspective!

What an adorable sight to see!
What are all the common animals to your area?
Here in East Texas we have deer, skunks, armadillos, opossums, most of which I see often as roadkill haha; lots of different birds I don’t know their name, some red ones, blue ones, loud in the wee hours ones, owls, copperheads snakes, garden snakes, lots of spiders,
